Aled Xerxes makes such atmospheric music, conjuring up soundscapes within my mind and this EP is no different. And with a couple of lovely remixes thrown in too, in particular one of my favourites is Her Er Eg by Jonas Kroon, remixed by Xerxes. Of his own tracks though Scene Satellites really grabs my attention, building up from this delightfully simple synth, getting faster and faster before breaking away into this clean head-in-the-clouds feeling before the drum beat kicks in again. Ah, bliss. Favorite track: Scene Satellites.

about

Hello! Welcome to my second EP. For the first time, I will release a couple of remixes that have been done over the last few months along with some new material. These songs, as with most of my releases, differ in style and genres so much that they are hard to put in one category. As always, I hope you enjoy what you hear. Big thanks to Norbert Röcher and to Jonas Kroon for letting me remix their excellent work. Huge respect and thank you to Dag Spant for providing the album art, which also inspired the title of the EP. Check his site at the link below and be amazed. And lastly, another high-five to Jonas for taking time to master the entire EP.
